At YEDI, we’re proud to support the Nigerian Government’s commitment to ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic by 2030, with a focus on stopping new infections among children.

Recently, we collaborated with our partners, Grassroot Soccer and the FIFA Foundation, to reach over 730 beneficiaries across three communities in Lagos through our medical outreach and football tournament. Moreover, we successfully disseminated comprehensive information on HIV prevention and management to over one million people across Nigeria, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.

Here are some highlights from our journey:

– Odo-eran: We commemorated World AIDS Day with a powerful event, providing free medical services and counseling to community members.

– Akala Community, Mushin: Our outreach continued with another impactful event, offering free medical services and counseling.

– Ilasamaja, Mushin: We culminated our activities with a football tournament and fair play matches, promoting healthy lifestyles and community engagement.

Together, we can make a difference in raising awareness, improving health outcomes, and ultimately, ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Nigeria. Let’s continue to support and uplift each other on this journey.
