The United States Agency for International Development Youth-Powered Ecosystem for Adolescent Health

The Youth Powered Ecosystem for Adolescent Health (YPE4AH) is a USAID funded project implemented by Development Alternative Incorporated (DAI), in partnership with YEDI, Yellow Brick Road (YBR), Women Friendly Initiative (WFI), and Grassroot Soccer (GRS). The primary goal of the project is to improve the health and well-being of urban, underprivileged, out-of-school and unmarried adolescents age 15–19 in two urban
cities (Kano and Lagos) by increasing voluntary family planning (FP) uptake and continued use.

YPE4AH Youth Advisory Committee members visit LGA Chairman

 

On April 18, 2024,Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) members, Chikwem Ann, Chisom Ani, and Samuel Akaniyene Godwin. joined USAID YPE4AH project team, led by Senior Technical Director Mr. Benson Ohemu in a visit to Kosofe LGA’s Executive Chairman, Barr. Moyosore A. Ogunlewe.

The aim of the visit was to express appreciation for the LGA’s support, to request continued collaboration, and establish networking linkages.

YEDI Inaugurates YPE4AH Youth Advisory Committee

 

On December 03, 2020, YEDI inaugurated the pioneer Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) of the USAID Youth-Powered Ecosystem to Advance Urban Adolescent Health and Well-Being (YPE4AH) project. The committee is made up of ten adolescents aged 15 – 19 years, drawn from five local government areas in Lagos State, namely; Lagos Island, Ikorodu, Ajeromi-Ifelodun, Alimosho and Agege.
