Philip Obialor

Director of Finance

Philip Obialor is the Director of Finance at YEDI. He provides leadership for admin, human resources and account management. Philip is a highly motivated, articulate and humble professional with extensive experience spanning across Financial Management and Strategy, Financial Accounting and Analysis, Funds Management, Auditing, Project Management, Risk Management, Business Feasibility Study and Development; with proven managerial, analytical and technical skills developed by working with multi- national and disciplinary teams.

He holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting (with Distinction) from Glasgow Caledonian University UK, where he finished as the Best Graduating Student. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) USA, an Associate of Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACIT), and a co-author of an internationally published financial reporting articles.

Prior to joining YEDI, he worked as an Auditor with the firm of Muhtari Dangana & Co (MD & Co Chartered Accountants) and was the Group Head, Accounts and Finance at Netlink Group Limited, which has Nigerlink Consulting, Netlink Petroleum Ltd and Netlink Technologies Ltd as subsidiaries. On these roles, he has had to handle and manage complex local and multinational tax related issues.
