Oluwafemi  Sanya is a seasoned community development professional with a deep commitment to supporting non-profit organisations that serve disadvantaged youths, including abused young girls, children and women in underserved and impoverished communities. With almost a decade of experience, he has developed expertise in program and project administration, project management, research, monitoring, and evaluation, with a strong focus on social impact interventions.

Oluwafemi is currently pursuing his Master’s degree in Computer Science at Swansea University, UK, with a focus on leveraging technology for social good in underserved communities following his graduation from Yaba College of Technology in the same field. His extensive experience spans various community-focused interventions and he has worked in partnership with local and international donor agencies, covering diverse thematic areas including Youth empowerment, Gender-based violence prevention, Child abuse prevention, Substance abuse awareness interventions, and HIV prevention campaigns in rural and urban poor communities

Prior to joining YEDI, Oluwafemi worked with esteemed organizations, including Freedom Foundation, Joe Nwiloh Heart Foundation, and Cece Yara Child Advocacy Centre, where he successfully implemented numerous interventions sponsored by prominent donors, including the Global Fund, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), UN Women, British Council, European Union, ACT Foundation, Population Council, Society for Family Health, achieving impactful outcomes.
