Anuoluwa Ishola

ANUOLUWA ISHOLA is currently the Regional Engagement Director (West and Central Africa) for the Community Health Academy under Last Mile Health. She was the Executive Director at Youth Empowerment and Development Initiative (YEDI) and she provided oversight for YEDI’s operation at the National level.  She holds two degrees: a B.Sc in Biological Sciences from Bowie State University, Maryland, USA and a Master’s in Public Health from George Washington University, Washington DC, USA. She is also a doctoral student at the Harvard T. H. Chan School of Public Health.

Anuoluwa’s professional background includes working as the Chief Operating Officer at Unveiling Africa Foundation, an organization that provides a platform to engage youths in critical thinking and problem solving for social change during their formative years. She has held several roles and been involved in numerous community service activities in Nigeria and internationally. These include working as a Global Health Fellow in Uganda, where she evaluated the community initiative program at The AIDS Support Organization (TASO). She is a World Economic Forum Global Shaper.
