BMZ SKILLZ Girl Football Festival 2018

The BMZ SKILLZ Girl Project is an adolescent girls’ health project for girls between ages 13 and 19. The project centers on HIV prevention, sexuality and life skills. It aims at supporting young women and girls participating in the project to better protect themselves from HIV/AIDS and make self-determined life decisions.

The project will focus on tackling the challenges of a minimum of 2000 girls and young women in Lagos, Ogun, Akwa Ibom, and Ogun States who have little access to information about sexual, reproductive rights/health, and have no access to inclusive sports programs.

The BMZ SKILLZ Girl project is sponsored by the German government’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ; German: Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung), through StreetFootballWorld.
