YPE4AH Kano State Coordinator

Nurudeen Dahiru Abubakar is the YPE4AH Kano State Coordinator.

He is a public health Expert and a seasoned Program Management Specialist with over 8 Years robust experience in Family Planning/Sexual and reproductive health (SRH, Maternal and Child Health (MNCH), Humanitarian Response, Gender, OVC, Substance Abuse, and Women Empowerment in Nigeria. He has demonstrable expertise in strategic planning, program design, advocacy, Quality Assurance, Health system strengthening and monitoring and evaluation including data collection and reporting through national data management platforms.

Nurudeen has a cordial working relationship with both public and private organizations in the health sector including Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) at both national and subnational levels.Over the past 8 years, Nurudeen has implemented programs for the likes of UN, USAID, the Norwegian government, FCDO (Foreign Commonwealth and Development Organization), and local partners.

He’s enthusiastic about the girl child and an advocate for women sexual and reproductive rights where he has led programs around sexual and reproductive health, formal education for the girl child, youth empowerment, family planning, and gender-based violence.
